There are no special skills which are required to make homemade perfumes, you just have to follow the procedure of making various types of perfumes and you will have the best product on your hand. It's very difficult to find perfumer's alcohol in the market, so vodka can be a good alternative. Make sure the perfume you're making is for personal use and not for sale. The main ingredient should be 100 proof alcohol and make sure to test a single drop on your skin so that you don't suffer from an allergic reaction. Scented oils and distilled water are also important in making perfumes.

Homemade Perfume Oil

Due to the rising popularity of homemade stuff, women and men are gaining interest in homemade perfumes oil rather than buying branded ones. There are many advantages in buying homemade perfume oil, it's more cost effective than other other brands and you also know the ingredients which you are using. If you are looking for some tips in making perfume oil, then I advise you to add a suitable carrier oil in your recipe. Carrier oils are extracted from plants, seeds, nuts and kernels. They are used to prevent skin irritation which is very common when you apply scented oils. The second ingredient which you can use are the essential oils. They are highly concentrated and extremely potent which means that they can't be used directly. It's always recommended to mix 2 drops of essential oil in a tablespoon of carrier oil for a long lasting and amazing perfume oil. The last and the most important ingredient is the fragrance oil. They are made from artificial perfumes and mixed with carrier oils for dilution. Aromatherapy oils are added to make the perfumes last longer and give a great fragrance.
