It gave me great pleasure to learn about the achievement of Hasan Sadpara, the second Pakistani to reach the summit of the world’s highest peak, that of Mount Everest. He is the only Pakistani to conquer all the five peaks in Pakistan which are more than 8000-metre high.
It is great news for the people of Pakistan especially in these times of despondency. Hasan Sadpara’s accomplishment will definitely boost the moral of the nation. Well done, Hasan Sadpara. The nation is proud of you.

We are proud of the two Pakistani students who got the third prize at Intel International Science and Engineering Fair held in the US. They developed a treatment which utilises nanotechnology to make polluted water drinkable.
I wonder if they will be rewarded in Pakistan in the same way in which our cricketers are rewarded.
