Known for it’s pristine beauty, Switzerland is always the destination of many tourists from all over the world. Apart from being a hotspot location due to the natural beauty of the place, this country is also a major center for international business. The Swiss Alps beckon everybody for the sheer breathtaking beauty. Tourism in Switzerland is thus an important sector with the many notable tourist destinations in Switzerland.

    * The beautiful Swiss Alps cover at least 61% of the total area of Switzerland. This makes Switzerland the second most alpine country following Austria. Dufourspitze is the highest summit that is seen in Swiss Alps.

    * The languages that are spoken in Switzerland are mainly German, Italian and French.
    * Switzerland covers about 41,285 square kilometers of land area and is thus a relatively smaller country as compared to others.
