E commerce Courses Biography
This Associate Certificate program examines the impact of E-commerce on business. Students will discover the significance of this rapidly expanding and changing area by studying the global impact of its technology and business opportunities. The certificate's eight courses provide students with the knowledge, context and analytical insights that prepare them for conducting business using information technology and the Internet.
Students should have experience with web browsers, word processors, presentation software and spreadsheets.

Individuals who wish to develop the technical skills that will allow them to lead the development of E-commerce projects should refer to the Web Application Software Development or Applied Web Development programs offered by Computer Systems Technology.

Credit Transferability: The majority of our courses can be transferred to most educational institutions in BC. Also, we have articulation agreements with several industry, government and education partners that allow students who have taken courses or programs at these organizations to apply for transfer of their credits to BCIT.
